Average weight added to vehicles:

Level B4: 120 kg weight added.
Level B6: 360 kg weight added.

HOW DOES ARMOURING AFFECT THE FUEL EFFICIENCY OF MY VEHICLE?

This depends on the type of fuel used.

There is no major difference in your fuel consumption when driving a discreet luxury armoured vehicle. This also depends on the type of fuel your vehicle uses (diesel / petrol).

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO ARMOUR MY VEHICLE?

35 - 55 working days depending on the protection level

Our delivery times currently average at around 35 working days for a B4 build and 55 working days for a B6 build once we commence work on the vehicle.

WILL MY INSURANCE POLICY BE AFFECTED BY VEHICLE ARMOURING?

No, it will not be affected.

Vehicle armouring is an approved upgrade and will not affect the validity of your insurance policy.

WILL MY VEHICLE LOOK ANY DIFFERENT?

At GSV, we refer to the vehicle structure as an internal protection cell. Using modern CAD programs, the vehicle is scanned in order to manufacture the perfect internal protection cell. 3D Models are created by our highly qualified engineering team. This approach allows us to eliminate ballistic gaps and find structural weak points. The 3D model is used later on to determine the targets for shots during our tests.
